Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern access to and use of the Menaela platform and website. By using the service you agree to these Terms. If you use Menaela on behalf of a clinic or organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
2. The service
Menaela provides AI-assisted practice management, including scheduling, patient communications, CRM and clinical documentation support. AI-generated output — including draft clinical notes — is provided for review by qualified staff and does not constitute medical advice or a clinical decision. The clinician remains responsible for clinical judgement and for signing the record.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for activity under your account. You must configure roles and permissions appropriately for your clinic.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the service in compliance with applicable law, including healthcare and data-protection regulation.
- Do not attempt to bypass tenancy isolation, permissions or security controls.
- Do not upload unlawful content or content you are not authorized to process.
5. Customer data
You retain ownership of clinic and patient data. We process it as your processor under the Data Processing Addendum and this agreement, solely to provide the service.
6. Fees
Fees, billing cycle and any usage limits are as agreed in your order or subscription. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.
7. Availability and support
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not warrant uninterrupted availability. Support terms are as described in your plan.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”, and our liability is limited as set out in the applicable order. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate as set out in the order. On termination, data is returned or deleted per the DPA.
