AI Scribe
Available

From consultation to draft note without typing the visit twice.

Menaela records the consultation, transcribes it and uses a constrained clinical-scribe mode to prepare a structured medical-note draft for the doctor to review. The AI output stays a draft — the clinician edits and signs.

Why this matters

The useful output of a medical scribe is not a transcript. It is a reviewable clinical note that is already attached to the correct encounter and can become part of the record without copy-paste. Menaela therefore treats recording, transcript, generated draft and signed note as separate artifacts with different authority.

What it does

Not a demo prompt. These are product capabilities connected to the clinic’s actual data and workflows.

Appointment-bound recording

Start and stop Scribe from the appointment so the recording is server-bound to the correct patient and provider.

Automatic transcription

Transcribe stored audio while preserving the original language and mixed medical terminology.

Raw transcript retained

Keep the source transcript separate from the generated note for review, regeneration and audit.

Structured draft generation

Turn the transcript into a structured clinical draft that does not invent findings, diagnoses or doses.

Hebrew medical language support

Dedicated recognition hints and a clinical language pack built around Israeli documentation patterns.

Doctor review & signing

The clinician edits and explicitly signs; signed notes are not silently overwritten by regeneration.

A real example

What the capability looks like when the request is slightly messier than a feature list.

From visit to draft

The transcript is not the medical record.

Menaela keeps the source transcript and generated note as separate artifacts, then leaves final authority with the clinician.

Doctor

Start recording this consultation.

Menaela

Recording is attached to the current appointment.

Doctor

Prepare the note in my usual structure.

Menaela

Draft prepared. Review and edit it before signing.

What happened: Appointment binding, raw transcript, AI draft and signed note remain separate stages instead of collapsing into one opaque “AI note.”
What happens in practice

The operational path behind a normal request.

01

Recording starts from the appointment, so patient and provider context are server-bound.

02

Audio is transcribed while preserving the source language and mixed medical terminology.

03

The scribe prepares a structured draft under constraints not to invent missing findings, diagnoses or dosages.

04

The clinician reviews, edits and explicitly signs. The signed record is not silently regenerated later.

What makes it different
  • Connected to the appointment and patient record, not a standalone dictation site.
  • Raw transcript and generated note are separate artifacts.
  • The generator is constrained not to invent missing clinical content.
  • Signed notes are protected from silent AI rewrite.
A strong fit for
  • Doctors spending evenings finishing notes
  • Multilingual consultations
  • Clinics that want documentation inside the patient record rather than in a separate scribe app
Important boundary

Menaela drafts documentation; it does not turn model output into a signed clinical record without clinician review.
