Recording & transcription
Recording is uploaded during the consultation; transcription begins after completion and exposes visible processing status rather than pretending the note is instant.

Recording the consultation
- Confirm you are in the correct patient and appointment before starting.
- Allow microphone access when prompted.
- Use the visible recording status and elapsed time to confirm capture is active.
- Select Stop Recording when the consultation is complete.
Processing after recording
The audio is uploaded in parts during the consultation. After completion, transcription and note generation run as separate processing stages with visible status.
- A failed transcription stage can be retried without repeating a successful note stage that is already available.
- A draft can be regenerated from the existing transcript when a new draft is needed.
- Keep the transcript available for review rather than hiding the evidence behind the generated note.
Review the transcript when something looks wrong
If a generated sentence appears clinically surprising, check whether the issue came from the transcript, the note-generation step or the clinician’s own editing. Separating those layers makes correction much safer.
