Patient conversation instructions

Use patient-conversation instructions for communication behavior, not for facts that belong in clinic configuration.

Good instruction patterns

  • “Keep patient replies brief and avoid emojis.”
  • “Do not address patients by name; use a neutral form of address.”
  • “When someone asks about the first cosmetic consultation, ask whether this is their first treatment before offering a slot.”
  • “When a patient asks for another provider, explain only the provider information configured for the clinic.”

When instructions apply

Saved patient-conversation instructions apply to subsequent relevant autonomous replies, including later turns in an existing conversation. They do not retroactively rewrite messages that were already sent.

Keep facts in structured settings

Do not use an instruction as a substitute for data the product already models. “Consultation costs 350 ILS” belongs in pricing. “Answer prices in one short sentence” belongs in patient-conversation instructions.
