Lead sources

Lead sources bring new enquiries into one queue with source context. Connect only the sources you actually use and review how each source identifies people and forms.

Supported lead-source patterns

Menaela can receive new enquiries from connected sources rather than making staff copy them manually into a CRM queue. Current source patterns include website email and Meta lead forms.

Website email

Connect the inbox that receives website enquiry emails. Restrict processing to the sender addresses used by the website or form system so unrelated email does not become a lead.

The connection status and sync health should be reviewed during setup, especially after changing mailbox permissions.

Meta Lead Ads

Connect the relevant Facebook/Instagram lead source and choose the forms that should create leads in Menaela.

Menaela can preserve the lead name, phone, email, originating form and social source. Campaign or ad attribution can also be stored when Meta provides it.

Why some leads need review

External sources are messy. A form may omit a phone number, use an unexpected language or put free text into a field you expected to be structured.

A review flag is useful when Menaela can create the lead but should not pretend every imported field is clean enough for automated follow-up.

From lead to first contact

When autonomy is active and the lead has a usable WhatsApp number, Menaela can move directly from the acquisition into a contextual first conversation instead of waiting for staff to copy the lead into another tool.

The first message can use the information already supplied by the source — such as the person’s name, form and enquiry — and naturally continue into the service or booking question.

WhatsApp provider ruleFirst-contact capability depends on the connected provider.

QR-linked WhatsApp can initiate with free text. Twilio first contact must follow approved-template rules, so some leads may require staff attention instead of an automatic first message.
